Below a sweeping sting-ray shaped roof in the heart of Tasmania’s pristine east coast, lays a hidden gem. Luxury suites, stunning coastal vistas and sensational food experiences are what Saffire Freycinet is all about.

Sky Avenue recently created a 360° tour inside, outside, and above Saffire, photographing its opulent rooms, majestic dining and lounge area and breathtaking views. See the tour here. We used our panoramic drone techniques to capture a unique view of the lodge from above the shoreline at Mures Beach, showing it in its natural setting.

Saffire has been voted World’s Best Boutique Hotel and World’s Best Luxury Hotel, and also named Best Luxury Hotel in Australia by Trip Advisor.

While the staying a night or two at the lodge may be a little over budget for most, now anyone can experience the beautiful architecture and stunning views of Saffire from a phone, tablet or computer.

Saffire is owned by Federal Group Tourism, who also own the sleek new MACq 01 Hotel, and the boutique Henry Jones Art Hotel on Hobart’s waterfront, which we photographed for virtual tours last year.

Here are links to all three of the 360° virtual tours: Saffire, MACq 01 and Henry Jones.

“David and the team at Sky Avenue have been a dream to deal with. Their attention to detail and timeliness on deliverables has been amazing and resulted in stunning virtual tours that showcase Federal Group Tourism’s luxury properties in the best light. Nothing is ever too much trouble and David has gone above and beyond in terms of providing additional guidance and assistance will all things business listings and HTML code. The virtual tours across the Saffire Freycinet, MACq 01 Hotel and The Henry Jones Art Hotel websites have been generating great results. I would highly recommend Sky Avenue to anyone.”
