Use VR to show the community what you have to offer
Show off your aged care facilities to potential residents and their families and attract students to your facilities.
Aged care
Choosing the right aged care facility for an eldery family member can be a stressful and time-consuming task. Being able to explore an aged care home in VR can go a long way to reduce this stress and make the decision easier for the family. Elderly people can also look around their potential new home without having to travel to it in person, which can be hugely helpful if mobility or transport is an issue for them. This gives them more freedom to choose the home that best suits them.
With COVID still rampant in many parts of Australia, having people visit your nursing home virtually also means a reduced risk of transmission to residents. Since a VR tour can be accessed from anywhere, family members and potential residents can view the tour from interstate or overseas.
We have photographed many aged care homes and independent living units all over Tasmania such as Korongee, Glenview, Corumbene, and OneCare’s Barossa Park Lodge, The Manor, Bishop Davies Court, Umina Park, and Rubicon Grove.
Education
Bring in potential students to your school, college or university. Encourage interest in new courses, trades and careers or show parents the facilities at your school. You can use VR to create a virtual open day or orientation for new or prospective students.
Schools and universities can also use VR in teaching. Explore a museum, botanical gardens, workplace, or historical site right from inside the classroom. Students can interact with all forms of media within the tour such as video (standard and 360°), audio, images, text, and questionnaires.
With numbers of COVID cases still rising each day in Australia, it’s more important than ever to provide alternative ways of learning and exploring the world to students, in a safe environment – whether that’s in a classroom or at home.
Community Support
Show the community the facilities you have on offer for young people and others in the community. Share information about new programs and initiatives interactively with your audience, or raise awareness for an important cause or fundraiser.
We know that budgets can be restrictive in this sector, so we offer a significant discount or even pro bono work for our services to not-for-profit organisations to make the benefits of VR, photography, and graphic design more accessible to these organisations.
